Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through the East Coast Signatures website (“Site”) and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By placing an order with East Coast Signatures (“ECS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
1. General Policy & Final Sale Items
Due to the custom, time-sensitive, and collectible nature of autograph signings and memorabilia, most ECS sales are final.
ECS reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or issue refunds or store credit at its sole discretion and in accordance with this Policy.
2. Signing Schedules, Delays & Force Majeure
All autograph signings are subject to the signer’s availability and schedule.
If a signing is delayed or postponed due to professional obligations, illness, travel issues, or force majeure events, ECS will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. Orders and send-in items will be held until the rescheduled date.
Delays or rescheduling do not qualify for refunds.
3. Signing Cancellation Without Reschedule
If a signing is permanently canceled and cannot be rescheduled, ECS will issue a refund of the autograph signing fee.
For send-in orders, the following will be deducted from the refund:

Return shipping costs

Non-refundable payment processing fees
4. Pre-Order Autographs (Final Sale)
All pre-order autograph items are final sale and non-returnable.
ECS will make best efforts to accommodate requests for:

Signature placement
-
Pen or ink color
-
Inscriptions, character names, or quotes
However, ECS is not responsible for:
-
Misspellings
-
Smudges, streaks, skips, or fading
-
Pen or marker type used
-
Signature size or placement
-
Cosmetic or subjective imperfections
These inherent risks do not qualify for refunds or exchanges.
5. Send-In Autograph Items – Assumption of Risk
By submitting a personal item for signing, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with:

Handling during signing
-
Transportation to and from ECS
-
Actions of the signer
Signing fees for send-in items are non-refundable once the signing occurs.
If a signing is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, the signing fee will be refunded minus return shipping and processing fees.
6. In-Stock Merchandise Returns
In-stock, non-customized merchandise may be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, as determined by carrier tracking.
Returned items must:

Be unused and in original condition

Include all original packaging

Be approved in advance by ECS
Shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
7. Personalized, Custom & Wholesale Orders
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

Personalized autographs made out to a specific name

Items with custom inscriptions, quotes, or character names

Wholesale orders
8. Refused or Objectionable Requests
ECS reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order containing content deemed offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable by ECS or the signer.
If canceled prior to signing:

The autograph fee will be refunded

Shipping fees are non-refundable
9. Refund Method & Store Credit
Refunds may be issued:

To the original payment method, when available
-
As store credit
-
By company check (for older transactions or restricted payment methods)
International customers may receive store credit when issuing a refund check is not feasible.
10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating an unauthorized chargeback may result in:

Order cancellation
-
Suspension of future services
-
Recovery of chargeback-related fees
Customers agree to contact ECS directly to resolve disputes before initiating a chargeback.
11. Return Authorization Required
All returns require prior written authorization from ECS. Items returned without authorization may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

12. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Policy Updates
ECS reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the Site. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
